HD, 4K and HDR, and how to get the best picture.

HD and 4K

Services stream in HD at 720p or 1080p and many titles in 4K on premium plans, adjusting quality to match your connection.

Most anime streams in 1080p, and the sharp lines and bright colours of series such as Frieren: Beyond Journey's End look superb on a good screen.

About 5 megabits a second suits HD and about 25 suits 4K.

A Movie or Filmmaker mode on your television shows colours as the makers intended.
